The Growth Mindset Scholarship recognizes incoming students that demonstrate a growth mindset, personal development, and achievement in the face of adversity.

Scholarship amount

For the 2021-2022 intake, recipients of this scholarship receive $5,000 USD or £3,500 GBP each academic year. This translates to $20,000 USD or £14,000 GBP over four years, or $15,000 USD or £10,500 GBP over three years.

Interested scholarship candidates can apply to multiple merit-based scholarships, but can only be awarded one with the exception of the Academic Excellence Scholarship and the DECA Scholarship.

How to apply

To be considered for the Growth Mindset Scholarship, you must submit a 400-500 word essay or a five-minute video. Your submission should illustrate your perspective on what growth mindset means to you by answering one of the following questions:

  • Provide an example of a time where you have had to overcome a significant challenge by exhibiting a growth mindset.
  • What are your future career ambitions and how do you see a growth mindset being critical to achieving them?

Applicants who are interested in applying for this scholarship must submit their student application before they can apply.
